Rockledge

This house was saved from being bulldozed and brought back to life. It was a strip-to-stud, 3000+sq ft house. We refinished the original hardwood floors, added an underground wine cellar and a foyer, all new kitchen with custom pecan countertops, butler pantry, bar with live edge pecan bartop, saloon doors and hand pump sink, exterior deck and patio, and 2 gorgeous bathrooms! The house was sold and the new homeowner then contracted us to complete an ADDITION, which featured an additional bathroom, 2 more bedrooms and huge office! This was a super fun project!

Paper House

This former Girl Scout counselor camp house was built entirely out of cardboard tubes for insulation in the walls and the exterior was made of roofing shingles! The house had been neglected and was unlivable. After restoration it is now a popular Short Term Rental. This was a tricky project because we wanted to preserve as much of the original structure and character as possible while bringing it up to modern codes and amenities. The roof had to be installed from the inside-out, which is highly unusual, but shows the lengths we will go to do the project right, often having to think outside the box and be creative. This was a full remodel, working around existing cedar beams and stacked rocks. Seeing this cabin be brought back to life was one of our most fulfilling projects.

Pecan

This 1950’s house was a strip-to-stud major renovation. We turned this house into a short term rental with 2 units, with the ability to rent the entire house together with a pass through door or separately. We converted the garage into a laundry room, huge bathroom and walk-in closet and connected it to what was an outdoor patio, now primary bedroom. Anything is possible with a little creativity!

14th Street

This house was purchased and remodeled to sell to a buyer for a long term rental. It was a complete strip-to-stud project. You never know what you might find when you have to do this much demo, but having a contractor who can pivot and turn when you do is essential. We ended up needing to remove the entire front half of the building. The floor had sooo many layers, but the final layer was newspapers from the 1930’s! Always exciting to be able to restore and bring life back to these older homes.

Lytton

This was a pre-foreclosure home that had been hoarded and empty for many years. We did a light interior renovation, adding a bedroom and bathroom in what had been a poorly converted garage. We also jumped through lots of creative hoops to get a septic added after discovering the existing one was on a neighboring property. It was in a developing neighborhood in Lytton Springs, TX and sold quickly.

Music Man

This client wanted a music room added on to his existing house. This addition was very customized with specific dimensions, angles and insulation for optimized music listening experience. Being able to match interior and exterior aesthetics when doing an addition is something we have become very good at!

Elm Tree

This was a unique abandoned property when purchased by the homeowners who wanted to make it their starter home after getting married. So this renovation began with no electric or water service! It was a unique house and had lots of challenges. This house got stained concrete floors, a new roof, all new interior, new septic system and custom rock fireplace. It was fun to be able to get this house up and running on this young couples’ budget!

Farmhouse

This customer purchased this ranch with a 100 year old farmhouse on it. We converted their screened in back porch into a new master bathroom, removed existing flat ceiling in the living room and replaced it with a vaulted tongue and groove ceiling with beams. We created custom sliding barn doors throughout the house and updated the entire kitchen with backsplash, cabinets and butcher block cabinets. This was accomplished all while accommodating the customers living in the house and working around their schedules.

Lake House

Customer purchased this 3 story lake house and wanted it remodeled before moving in. We gutted the master bathroom and rebuilt a full tiled, walk-in shower, removed existing tile flooring and replaced with engineered hardwood. Removed kitchen countertops and reframed the island and replaced with all new quartz waterfall countertops and backsplash. We repainted all the interior walls, whitewashed 2 fireplaces and fabricated custom mesquite mantle pieces for both.
